Social Dash Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Social Dash ("we," "us," or "our"), a product of Wavy Technologies, collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our platform.

1. Account Information

When you create a Social Dash account, we collect your name, email address, and password. Passwords are securely hashed and never stored in plain text. We may also collect your billing address and payment method when you subscribe to a paid plan.

2. Connected Platform Data

Social Dash connects to third-party platforms via OAuth authentication. When you authorize a connection, we access data from the following platforms:

  • Instagram — followers, engagement, posts, stories, profile data
  • TikTok — followers, video performance, engagement metrics
  • YouTube — subscribers, views, revenue, channel analytics
  • Twitter/X — followers, tweets, engagement, profile data
  • OnlyFans — subscribers, earnings, content metrics
  • Fansly — subscribers, earnings, content metrics

All OAuth tokens are encrypted using AES-256 encryption at rest. We only request the minimum permissions necessary to provide dashboard functionality. You can disconnect any platform at any time from your account settings.

3. CSV Import Data

You may optionally import data via CSV files. Imported data is processed and stored within your account. CSV files are deleted from our servers after processing is complete.

4. Usage Data

We collect anonymized usage data including pages visited, features used, dashboard configurations, and session duration. This data helps us improve the product and is not shared with third parties.

5. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Display your unified dashboard with metrics from all connected platforms
  • Sync data from connected platforms on a regular schedule
  • Power the unified inbox for cross-platform messaging
  • Deliver smart alerts based on your notification preferences
  • Process subscription payments through Stripe
  • Improve our platform based on aggregated, anonymized usage patterns

6. Data Sync Schedule

When you first connect a platform, we perform an initial sync covering the previous 30 days of data. After that, data is refreshed automatically every 4 hours. Some platforms support real-time webhooks, which we use when available to provide faster updates.

7. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with:

  • Stripe — for payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy governs their handling of your payment data.
  • Hosting providers — our infrastructure partners who process data on our behalf under strict data processing agreements.

8. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

  • AES-256 encryption for all OAuth tokens and sensitive credentials
  • CSRF protection on all form submissions and API endpoints
  • Rate limiting to prevent abuse and brute-force attacks
  • HTTPS encryption for all data in transit

9. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you disconnect a platform, its data is removed from your dashboard within 24 hours. If you delete your account, all personal data and connected platform data is permanently deleted within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

10. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access all data we hold about you
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete your account and all associated data
  • Disconnect any platform at any time
  • Opt out of non-essential communications

11. Browser Extension

If you use the Social Dash browser extension, it may collect additional browsing data related to your connected platforms to enhance dashboard functionality. The extension only activates on supported platform domains and does not track general browsing activity.

12. Children's Privacy

Social Dash is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18. If we discover that a minor has created an account, we will promptly delete it.
